Markets
Crypto prices and market caps
Short answer: this is the top 100 cryptocurrencies ranked by market capitalization, with live price, 24-hour change, trading volume, and circulating supply. The source and timestamp are printed on the table itself, and if the feed fails the table says so instead of showing old numbers.
How the market is doing: today, this week, this month
Three windows over the same top-100 universe: the last 24 hours, the last 7 days, and the last 30 days. Each window shows Bitcoin, Ethereum, a market-cap-weighted top-100 aggregate computed from the table below, and market breadth (how many of the tracked coins rose versus fell). The scoreboard loads live with its source and timestamp printed on it; past windows describe what already happened and say nothing about what happens next.
The written companion is Weekly Movers: every week the ten biggest gainers and losers inside this table, with the researched reason each one moved.
How to read this table
Rank and market cap. Coins are ordered by market capitalization: price multiplied by circulating supply. Rank changes when either side of that multiplication moves, so a coin can climb the table on a supply release without its price changing.
24h change. The percentage move versus 24 hours ago, sign included. It describes the last day only. Pair it with volume before treating a move as meaningful: a large percentage on thin volume is a different signal from the same move on heavy volume.
Circulating supply. Coins in public hands today. Where the fallback feed cannot supply it, the cell shows a dash rather than a total-supply figure dressed up as circulating.
Where the numbers come from
Prices load in your browser from the CoinGecko public market API, with the CoinPaprika public API as a fallback. Both aggregate trades across exchanges, so a figure here is a market-wide reference, not a quote from one venue. Read our methodology for how CryptosEyes handles market data across the site.
This page is deliberately separate from the Treasury Tracker, which follows what public companies hold in Bitcoin and Ethereum from filings and issuer disclosures, refreshed on the site's daily pipeline.
Coin profiles: the top 20 in depth
Each of the twenty largest coins in this table has a profile page pairing the live figures (price, market cap, 24h range, 7-day chart) with what the asset is, how it works, and the main risk a reader should understand before going further.

What is market capitalization in crypto?
Market capitalization is the current price of a coin multiplied by its circulating supply, the amount actually in public hands. It measures the market value of the circulating coins, not the money invested in them. CryptosEyes uses circulating supply because valuing locked or unissued coins as if they were trading today would overstate every network with a large reserve.
Where does this price data come from, and how fresh is it?
The table loads from the CoinGecko public market API in your browser and falls back to the CoinPaprika public API if the first source does not respond. It refreshes about every two minutes while the page is open. The source and the as-of timestamp sit above the table; if both sources fail, the table says so and stays empty instead of presenting stale numbers as live.
Why can the price here differ from my exchange?
Aggregators average prices across many exchanges and trading pairs, weighted by volume. A single exchange can trade a little above or below that average at any moment, and spreads widen on thin pairs. Treat this table as the market-wide reference and your exchange order book as the price you would actually transact at.
What does the 24h % column mean?
It is the percentage change in price versus 24 hours ago, with the sign preserved: a negative value means the coin trades lower than it did a day ago. It says nothing about where the price goes next, and short windows are noisy, especially for smaller coins.
Is this table investment advice?
No. It is market data with a named source and timestamp, published for research. CryptosEyes also tracks what public companies hold on the Treasury Tracker and explains the mechanics in the Learn section; neither is a recommendation to buy or sell anything.
